Otto Von Schirach, half Cuban Native Indian half German Anunnaki wolf, was born in the 3rd point of the Bermuda Triangle, Miami. Some people say he was dropped into the triangle by a UFO or arrived in a Gravitron.
Otto grew up in an area where the kids followed heavy Miami Bass and Cuban Tropical music. He quickly created his own music language based on electro bass broken noise gangsta glitch… In 2012, Otto has joined Modeselektor’ Monkeytown label to turn into Supermeng, a genetically enhanced super human. He just released a new single called “Salpica / Skeleton search”.

German veteran DJ and producer Timo Maas recently released his second artist album Lifer on Rockets & Ponies. Maas started to DJ in the early 80s and to produce before reaching the 90s, since then he has become an internationally recognised and influential DJ who easily mixes electro, techno, house and anything in between, and produces an even wider range of music as his previous album Pictures proved. On both his artist albums, Maas invited very diverse vocalists such as Kelis, Mikill Pane, Neneh Cherry or his friend Brian Molko from Placebo. And here are a few words from the artist.
You recorded Lifer in this remote German village, Bückeburg, did Brian Molko come to record the lyrics?
Not this time, but for Pictures he did. He stayed at my house for two days, while we recorded.
Only two days to record three tracks?
Actually only one day. He works extremely fast. And it was extremely cool to work or to just hang out with him. He is a very interesting character and he is SO talented. Sometimes it seems the creativity is just exploding – and he is a strange character, but I really like him.
